Ken Ceder, CEO, was formerly co-director of Hippocrates Health Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. Ken formed OTT Light Systems (OLS) in 1987 after meeting and collaborating with pioneering photobiologist Dr. John Ott. Ken sold his rights to the “Ott” trademark after Dr. Ott's death and formed bioLight Group (bLG) in order to expand Dr. Ott's insight & vision to the 'next generation' of bio-beneficial lighting products.
For many years OLS designed & marketed light therapy systems that utilized Dr. Ott’s unique patents for radiation shielded, full-spectrum light with added ultra violet light (UV). Dr. Ott's patents reduced the hazardous (low-level) x-ray radiation and radio frequency waves that were, and still are, emitted from all fluorescent lights while simultaneously delivering full spectrum light with a vital trace amount of UV.
Currently bLG designs and endorses biologically beneficial 'light activated wellness' systems that advance Dr. Ott's original fluorescent light technologies to the premier eco-technology of light emitting diodes (LED).
